All joking aside, the Duchess of Cornwall is quite charitable. Today (December 12th) Her Royal Highness invited children supported by Helen & Douglas House hospice and The London Taxidrivers Fund for Underprivileged Children for lunch and Christmas tree decorating at Clarence House in London.
Inside, Camilla helped a youngster put ornaments on the tree before everyone tucked into bangers-and-mash. The children arrived at the palace in festive cabs, with parents describing the day as “magical.”
Since becoming a patron of the hospice in 2007, Camilla has been inviting the terminally ill children to Clarence House annually.
Earlier in the day, Her Royal Highness paid a visit to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home with her own rescue dogs, Beth and Bluebell.
